Professional Experience

Visiting Researcher

Southern University of Science and Technology (School of Science) · Shenzhen, China

Dec 2025 – Present

  • Participate in scientific collaboration and advance cutting-edge research publication
  • Focus on industrialization and transformation of AI engineering capabilities
  • Completed three academic papers as first author or co-author, covering DAS fiber-optic dam monitoring, ConvLSTM-based urban seismic source tracking, and Martian surface-wave attenuation; drafted one new patent application (seismic-array/vision cross-modal source tracking), currently in pre-filing preparation

Vice President of R&D

BS Inc. · Shenzhen, China

Apr 2023 – Oct 2025

  • Led company-wide R&D and commercialization as an early mover in applying non-voice intelligent auditory technology to smart-transportation and urban-safety early-warning scenarios, directing city-scale infrastructure monitoring systems (bridges, tunnels, dams, airports, etc.) from concept to production
  • Managed a ~20-person cross-disciplinary R&D team spanning geophysics, AI, and urban engineering; owned end-to-end development of the flagship “Traffic Ground Motion” and “Airport Ground Motion” products, and tackled signal-separation/recognition optimization challenges in multimodal large models to drive continuous performance gains
  • Core inventor on 2 PCT international patent applications and 13 domestic Chinese patents; combined geophysics with AI to achieve 3D digital traffic-flow reconstruction and precise subsurface imaging; served as technical liaison for government and enterprise partners, translating industry needs into deployable engineering solutions
  • Led verification and pilot deployments across highway (10+ km installations in Anhui, Hebei, and Zhejiang), airport (Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao’an), dam, slope, bridge, and earthquake-monitoring scenarios, including a 14-project, 5-hazard-category citywide pilot in Shenzhen
  • Directed emergency-response deployments for high-profile infrastructure incidents, including SEG Plaza, Binhai Boulevard, the Shenzhen–Jiangmen railway, and Ping An Finance Centre
  • Represented the company to win 1st place (champion) in the 2024 New-Generation AI (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition national final, and 3rd prize in the 2025 Shenzhen “Maker China” Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition

Postdoctoral Researcher

University of Science and Technology of China · Hefei, China

Mar 2022 – Mar 2023

  • Joined a research group led by a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering; applied deep learning to the analysis of traffic-induced ground-vibration signals, building an end-to-end feature-extraction and classification pipeline for urban traffic-state monitoring and anomaly detection

Education

PhD, Earth and Environmental Sciences

Université de Paris & Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP) · France

Jan 2016 – Dec 2021

In my Ph.D. research, I explored the integration of optimal transport theory into geophysical full waveform inversion (FWI), with a particular focus on the Sinkhorn divergence as a robust and scalable objective function. This work represents one of the earliest efforts to apply regularized OT-based distances to the optimization of subsurface models in seismic imaging.
